Pretty in Spring Time- PrettyLittleThing
Springtime, is my favorite time of the year. I find the visual transition from Fall to Spring wonderfully beautiful. While, I love the warm colors of Fall, and of course the Fall fashion, it is during the spring, where my passion blooms, and my heart comes alive. And, with all that's going on in the world today, I personally found it necessary to spend a little time focusing on the pretty, beautiful things this world still has to offer, even in the midst of so much pain and sadness.
Pretty Little Things, has all the inspiration one needs to freshen up their closet just in time for Spring. Some of my favorite trends this season, are listed below.
Pastels are traditional colors of Spring. I loved this dress, because it represents all of the classic beauty I have come to love about the season. This Lilac, strappy, cowl neckline maxi is ultra-feminine, and the mesh material will flatter any body type.
CHURCH!!! YESSSSSSS! I love pleats! Pleats are classic, flowy, fun and fresh. You will see a lot of Green hues this season. Personally, I'm in love with this Emerald Green Floral Print Pleated Long Sleeve Dress. Now, I will pair it with a cami (color TBD) underneath, because I don't want that much of chest out. But, other than that I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this look. Can't wait to try it on.
These Plus Size Light-washed Extreme Wide Leg Jeans are a must have! I'm a fan of the High-waist, because it will drape nicely over my curves. In my opinion, high-waist function in the same way as a shape garment. When paired with a nice fitted top, or paired with a crop top like the model, will help create a nice silhouette. Also, you can dress them up with heels or a nice pair of chunky FILA's :-) for extra comfort. No matter how you pair it, remember to have fun with it.
